Accepting New Clients

Hi, I’m Thomas! I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a dedicated psychotherapist with a strong passion for working with adolescents and young adults. I deeply believe in the power of self-discovery and the importance of developing a strong, authentic sense of identity. My focus is to guide individuals in developing greater self-awareness, confidence, and emotional resilience as they navigate the complexities of growing up.

In my work, I create a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where young people can feel completely safe and supported as they explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I understand that adolescence and young adulthood can be challenging, filled with uncertainties, and sometimes difficult emotions. That’s why I am here to provide the support, guidance, and strategies that help individuals cope with life’s ups and downs.

Along with working directly with individuals, I also offer a collaborative approach with parents. I believe that family dynamics play a crucial role in a young person’s mental health journey, and I offer practical tools and techniques to strengthen communication and understanding within the family. By working together, we can foster healthier relationships that promote mutual respect and support.

My goal is to empower both young people and their families to develop the emotional tools, coping strategies, and communication skills needed to build healthier relationships and flourish in life. Every journey toward healing is unique, and I’m committed to walking alongside you as we face challenges, celebrate personal growth, and work toward a brighter, more confident future.

I look forward to joining you on this transformative journey toward connection, healing, and personal empowerment!

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): I help young people recognize and reframe unhelpful thought patterns so they can develop healthier ways of thinking, manage anxiety, and build confidence.

    • Attachment-Informed Work: I support teens and young adults in exploring how early relationships may shape current emotional experiences, while also helping caregivers strengthen their connection with their child.

    • Psychoeducation: I integrate psychoeducation to help clients gain a deeper understanding of their emotional responses, offering tools to enhance emotional regulation and decision-making.

    • Family Systems Approach: I work collaboratively with families to understand patterns of interaction, improve communication, and build stronger, more supportive relationships.

    • Mindfulness and Self-Regulation Techniques: I teach simple, effective tools to help manage stress, increase emotional awareness, and stay grounded during difficult moments.

    • Narrative Therapy: I encourage clients to share and explore their personal stories, helping them make sense of their experiences, build self-acceptance, and gain a stronger sense of identity.
